On a modest 140m² site where an old milk dairy once stood, The Dairy in Brunswick East shows what’s possible when every millimetre is carefully considered.

This three-level family home with studio and basement uses clever planning, storage and natural light to create calm, zoned living within a tight urban footprint. A warm palette of timber, steel and concrete is layered with texture and colour, giving each space its own personality.

Below, a basement with “speakeasy” character sits beneath a studio and courtyard, while above, a rooftop entertaining deck captures 360-degree views over Brunswick to the city.
